Know when to come close and when to retreat

A layer of clouds looking like cotton balls covered the sky like a cozy blanket. Pelican Highway cruised southbound over the the emerald colored waves rolling toward shore.

The flock of gulls flew in for our usual bath time and chat. One Legger and crew stopped to say hello.

Our message today of discernment comes from Patches the Pelican and small turtle crossing the road. Patches wanted to be very close while the turtle wanted a little space.

They said, “We bring the message of knowing when to connect with closeness and when to retreat for a time out. Balance with both keeps us centered. Be kind with yourself if you want to hang out in your shell for a bit knowing you can come back out and get up close and personal with your flock when you feel inspired.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
