Stopping to assess is part of the process
The wind was whipping as I walked to the beach. At first the sky had just a few fluffy cotton ball clouds but the closer we got to sunrise, the more clouds came floated in, adding to the beauty of the morning.
Mother Nature used her pastel color palette giving us a soft and sweet vibe. A chatty flock flew in, using the wind to stay in place until we hit the water for our usual bath time. The birds know getting the bugs off with a good bath is a great way to start the day.
Pelican Highway traffic was light with just a few birds heading southbound. A solo pelican slammed on his brakes like he was going to hit the rest stop but changed his mind and kept flying.
He said, “Stopping to assess if I can grab a fish is part of being a pelican. We recommend being open to the flow. Trust yourself to know when to stop and when to keep going.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
