Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode Momma Sarabi is Back In Town!

I was very excited to see Momma Sarabi back in the neighborhood on February 28.

I met her in 2021 when her playful calf came over and started splashing me with his tail. He is the second photo peeking out from behind his mom.

Sarabi has another youngin with her and although it has a similar marking as Simba I think this one os too small to be him. I’m calling her/him Nala. S/he is very playful too! S/he’s the one jumping and tossing a fish.

They were with Daniko and jasper the two male dolphins who I see them with quite frequently.

I’m attaching a drone video of Sarabi with her calf along with Daniko. It’s a long one but you can see Daniko Sarabi and her calf swimming my way when Daniko sees a mullet and goes for the fish.

Sarabi leaves her calf, goes over to Daniko and I swear she said, “Come on, they are filming, we gotta go!” He came along and the three swam by then Daniko went to get the fish.
