Ease your grip, lean in

Ahhhhhh a sweet and salty moody bluesy kind of sunrise.  Huge fluffy clouds with beautiful  lighting lined the horizon.  The flock of seagulls flew in for some bath time and connection.  I really love this time together, it always feels special to be a part of their world.

Pelican Highway was jamming flying southbound with the beautiful golden glow behind them. The waves were catching the soft pastel light as they rolled toward shore.

Mikey the great egret was grabbing snacks after sunrise. I asked him about his fishing technique and he said, “I walk out onto the edge of the branch so I can lean into the water to grab the fish.”

“This technique takes trust in myself and the branch, as well as intense focus and patience.  The most important part is to ease my grip on the branch, rather than a death grip. You see the lighter the grip the more stable I feel.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
