Focus amplifies

The sunrise felt and looked more like a winter with a moody blues color show. The sky reflected on the wet sand giving us an expansive feel.

The chatty flock of seagulls came flying in when it was still dark. I was very excited to see Peg the Seagull has returned from her trek up north. She is looking good and strong flying in her usual circle pattern then hanging in one spot.

I asked her how she stays so strong. She said, “I know where I put my focus gets amplified, so I embrace my strengths. I also rest into the moment. I find slowing it down, savoring this moment now gives me energy and joy.”

After sunrise I ran into Luna the Osprey grooming. She was also very chatty. She was going on about defending her territory with her voice. She reminds us to have boundaries that support our journey and safety.
