Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Full Moon Chillin’
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Full Moon Chillin’
Usually I witness the dolphins jumping and snuggling during a full moon but today was all about relaxation with a few snacks.
Ocean and Whisper came in to relax. Ocean stayed for 3 hours while Whisper popped in out. Daniko and Jasper cruised in to grab a fish and leave like a convince store.
Ocean enjoyed teasing the pelicans a bit and grabbing a fish every now and then, but really seemed to enjoy the calm water and less wind after the touch conditions the past few days.

Dolphin Sunset
The wind was whipping with rain looming so decided to post a dolphin sunset to get your day started. Wishing you a playful day friends!
Tales from the lagoon ~ Episode-Snuggles and Snacks
Tales from the lagoon ~ Episode - Snuggles and Snacks
What A day! With whipping wind, and white caps, that didn’t deter the dolphin from enjoying themselves.
The day started with Jagger and Uncle Larry along with 2 other dolphins I know but not well. Uncle Larry and Jagger came and went but the other two stayed for quality time and to get to know each other. More from them later.
Bald eagles are returning to the area for winter. They have the osprey screaming bloody murder as they fight for their territory.
Dolphins were coming and going grabbing fish then leaving. At one point a maternity pod stopped in with Charley and M who said hello then headed across the river to fly out of the water! Too far to snap but what a show! After the air time they headed back to where I was for more snuggles!

Float above your situation for bird’s eye view
It was an Amazing Grace kind of sunrise this morning like yesterday. With fluffy clouds in the sky when the sun came up the beams of light streamed through the clouds looking like it was raining light.
Truly a heart opening morning full of promise. The flock of gulls stayed low to the ground, resting fro the wind. Pelican Highway traffic flew high in the sky using the thermals to carry them toward their destination.
On the way off the beach I heard an osprey screaming, it’s a scream that indicated a bald eagle is in the area. Sure enough, an immature bald eagle and osprey were having words high in the sky.
They are both birds of prey who soar high in the sky surveying where to go next. They bring us the message of getting a broader perspective. They said, “Float above your situation to see all the moving parts. This way you will have more information about your next move.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

A different angle can give new perspective
WOWIE! This was one of the best light shows I have ever seen! It was slow to start but once it got going the streaming sunbeams were extraordinary.
The wind was whipping churning up the ocean and sending sand flying down the beach. A large and chatty flock of gulls showed up to get squeaky clean despite the cold and wind.
As the flock hovered in the wind, I got below them and looked up. They said, “A different angle can give you a new perspective. Seeing people, places and things from a different viewpoint can provide new information.”
They also surprised me by getting squeaky clean in the cold conditions. They said, “Self care isn’t always convenient but it is necessary to stay healthy. We know daily bath time is part of thriving.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Color outside the lines
With spitting rain and a heavy layer of clouds keeping things cozy, the morning felt like a mix of other worldly and romantic.
The chatty flock flew in early for bath time, making sure to get squeaky clean before the cold front comes through. Pelican Highway traffic was light stopping often for snacks at the rest stops.
Mother Nature brought us a colorful sunrise bringing us the message to use every crayon in the box. "Go ahead, color outside the lines, mix and match colors, let your creativity flow."
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Good morning! Mother Nature brought us another stunning sunrise, using fluffy clouds and vibrant colors. The pre sunrise was extra quiet with a heart opening pink and purple sky.
After a few minutes the chatty gull alarm clock flew in to squawk in the sunrise. Our message today comes for a sun drenched male cardinal who said, “Us males are very colorful, reminding you to step into your boldness. Go ahead, let your beautiful true colors shine bright for the world to see.”
He went on to say, “I am also the messenger that your angel loved ones are near. Especially at this time of year, I’m a reminder to that you are not alone, they are watching over you with so much love.”
Wishing you a e beautiful day friends!

In this momentum, Imagine the waves carrying you r forward
Wow! I could see first light before I walked to the beach. Clouds in the shape of bands soaked up all the pastels with a soft light hinting at the magic about to unfold.
When I reached the beach there were hundreds of birds at the edge of the shore resting from their migration to a warmer climate.
The sun came up from behind the clouds while sailboats gently cruised on the horizon. A dolphin pod came from the left surfing the waves. One surfed in front of the channel marker remind us to look for guideposts to know when to take action. She said, “If you are having trouble finding the markers, lean into your intuition, you inner knowing is a built in guidepost.”
The 4 dolphins surfing encourage play while rolling with the momentum of the waves. “Let the waves be fun! Right now, as you read this, imagine feeling the waves carry you toward your heart’s desires.”

asking for help is good for everyone
Ahhhh a serene Sunday sunrise. The pre sunrise light was a soft bronze glow. The chatty flock flew in with wings and hearts open ready to for a new day.
The sun came up sending rays of light into the sky illuminating the shrimp boats sprinkled on the horizon.
A huge flock of birds gathered at the edge of the shore. There was quite a variety of birds including skimmers.
Skimmers are cool birds, the bottom beak is longer than the top, so they can scoop up fish as they fly. One of the skimmers had bands on his legs. After a google search, it appears he is most likely from North Carolina!
He brings the message of the day. He said, “It’s true I was in the hospital to get much needed help. I’m a reminder that sometimes we need support and assistance to keep flying. The special part of my stay was I could see it made the nice people happy to help, a win-win for all of us.”
Wishing you a restful day friends!

Ground in to stay strong
Fist light was sweet with a hint of gold before adding a bit of pink. The close the sun came to rising, the more the sky filled with a golden glow. A chatty flock flew in ready for bath time.
So many kinds of gulls have arrived, ready to rest. They said, “We flock together to sleep, knowing there is safety when we come together. We thank you for not running into us while we restore our strength.”
One Legger leaned in to bring the message of the day. He said, “You can see from my power stance that being grounded is how how I stay strong. Lean into your strengths to feel solid and ready for what life throws at you.”

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- A Close Up with Momma and her calf River.
The wind and white caps hasn't seemed to deter the dolphins at all, in fast I think they are enjoying it! I've seen them surfing the swells and enjoying the rough conditions.
This is Momma and the second calf of hers I have met. Baby River is a female, and loves to be silly. Momma is a great mom, attentive, sweet and a great fisher girl!
Stay tuned for more tales!
To view sunrise posts and flying dolphins from last couple days- go back to previous posts - My apologies for being tardy in getting these posted.
Opportunities can come quickly
Ahhhh, the wind relaxed, gifting us a calm sunrise painted with gorgeous autumn colors. A flock of birds arrived, their reflections shimmering on the wet sand, while Pelican Highway traffic steadily headed southbound.
As the sun rose higher, the flock seemed to receive a collective message that breakfast awaited just past the waves.
In a swift, synchronized swoosh, they took off, their flight a mix of organized chaos. Diving and darting, they snatched their snacks while squawking loudly about their good fortune.
They said, “We are here to remind you that life can change in an instant. If you're in a lull, don’t worry—opportunities often arise when you least expect them. Stay open, stay ready, and take action when the moment comes!”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Girls Like to Fly!
Yesterday while hanging with Momma and River, another mom and her calf and a few others popped in for bit. Within minutes I could feel they were about to fly.
In a flash 3 dolphins flew out of the water at the same time...I missed that one, then they popped out again before moving along. The man in the sailboat was cheering too!
Fun fact, the dolphin in the air is a female. Female dolphins have a division sign on their belly- one long slit with 2 smaller slits in each side. Males have an exclamation point on their belly - one long slit with a smaller slit under the long one.

Set your fear aside and go for it!
Holy light rays Batman! The sun was slow to rise this morning with a cloud layer in front of its path. On the way up, jetting sunbeams reached out onto the sky filling the air with warmth and hope of a new day.
The flock flew in wings snd hearts open ready for bath time. Thankfully the water was warmer than the air. After bath time we hunkered down huddled together for warmth.
On my walk off the beach a bald eagle soared above bringing us the message today. She said, “I am a reminder that you are stronger than you know. I bring the message of unshakable courage. If you have ever watched me, you know I am determined, putting any fear aside so I can soar high.”
You got this! Have a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~Episode - Baby River is Growing Up!
I met Momma in 2018 with her first baby who I named Indy after the Indian River Lagoon. Momma was the first female dolphin to Human Whisper me. She would lay just a few feet away and point her rostrum at me for long periods of time. It felt like we were having long chats.
January 2022 Momma came in with another baby who I named River. In December 2022 River let us know she was a girl and loves to play!
Yesterday Momma and a youngin’ who I believe is River came into the lagoon for snacks and relaxation. River is bigger and still loves to play! River kept swimming circles around the camera, showing off her fish with pride.
Check out the baby photos of River from January 2022 and December 2022.
After hanging out a while with just Momma and River, a few moms and their kiddos came in and they had an impromptu party with a few jumps in the white caps! A fun party for sure!

Balance
Thanks to cool temperatures, the air was crisp with an orange glow filling the sky at first light. The chatty flock was already at the edge of the shore when I arrived.
Wind blew the tops of the waves as they rolled toward shore sending salty spray into the air. Hook and Pixar flew, a couple of laughing gulls flew in close to say hello showing how beautiful they are, especially when their feathers soak up the light.
On the way off the beach, a very chatty squirrel was serious about chatting this morning. He said, “I’m here to remind you to have balance. It’s good to be resourceful but careful not to hold on too tight. Don’t hoard your nuts, not to worry there are plenty for you and everyone else.”
Wishing you plentiful day friends!

Be gentle with yourself, everything is unfolding in ways you can’t imagine
The sunrise had all the elements of winter with wind, chilly temperatures and a churning ocean. The chatty flock flew in early to say good morning. The original Peg, a laughing gull flew over to say she was back and pose for a photo.
The sun came up behind a cloud looking like a pair of eyes peering through. Once it was up, the warmth felt wonderful.
On the the way off the beach I ran into a morning dove enjoying the sun. She said, "I’m here to encourage you to keep hope alive. If you’re feeling discouraged, be gentle with yourself. Trust the process, not to worry, everything is unfolding in ways you can’t yet imagine."
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
I see you
