WOW! First light set the tone for an amazing sunrise with a deep pink color show that morphed into a mixture of golds, reds and even lavender.
The breeze was light as powerful waves rolled in toward shore. The large and very chatty flock of gulls flew in to start the morning together.
The gulls and the incredible beauty bring us the message of tuning into the beauty all around, like a radio station, if you are not seeing the beauty, change the station to experience the wonder. Keep you wings and hearts open to soak it up!
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
baby Turtle release
With rain all around these baby loggerhead turtles made their way to the ocean with gusto and serious determination. So inspiring to see them on their first day of life ready to go for it.
These little ones had a little trouble getting out of their nest so the NSB Turtle Trackers gave them a night of rest then released them last night.
A huge shout out to the tireless New Smyrna Beach Turtle Trackers who are up before the sunrise to care for the nests, keep an eye on any moms and ensure the babies are safe from wildlife and the elements.
Spontaneous play is good for the heart
Mother Nature used the swirly cloud brush to paint the sky with soft white clouds. Along the horizon a wall of fluffy clouds kept the sun hidden and the light dark and sultry.
The flock of gulls could be heard coming down the beach, squawking like a loud alarm clock.
After the sun was up, a pod of dolphins came from the north to play in the waves. 2 of the 5 five dolphin made a heart shaped wave while catching the wave.
They said, “Play makes the heart happy. Whether you are surfing or just enjoying a moment with a smile, playtime is good for the soul. Go ahead, enjoy a moment of spontaneous play. Your heart with thank you.”
Wishing you a playful day friends!
Powerful energy boost
The air was still as I waked out the door and spotted the moon next to Jupiter high in the dark sky. Just a tiny hint of pink was present 45 minutes before the sunrise.
The half moon said, “We are half way through the moon cycle which means we are sandwiched between 2 supermoons. As you can see I am having a conversation with Jupiter who is the planet of expansion.”
“We highly recommend using our energy to manifest and expand what your heart truly desires. Use the energy of today to let go of the old and bring in the new.”
The sun came up large and gorgeous, kissing the ocean goodbye for the day while pelican highway cruised close to the ocean heading in both directions. The pelicans said, “Relax and go with the flow of the energy, it will take you where you want to go.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Stillness to improve well being
Mother Nature brought us a sweet and salty starting off with amazing pink ribbons across the sky at first light. The chatty flock of gulls was already at waiting when I arrived.
High in the sky near the half moon was a pink cloud in the shape of a person with really long legs. Can you see him/her? A sweet reminder our angles are around giving us signs.
The sun came up looking like an Easter egg with deep colors as a sailboat passed by. With the absence of waves, Pelican Highway glided by high in the sky.
After sunrise I had the pleasure of hanging out with a black crowned heron who was checking out the pool.
He said, “Like other herons I bring the message of being balanced and grounded. What makes me a little different than other herons is I am usually nocturnal and have am masterful at being motionless.”
“I’m here to encourage stillness. A few moment of quiet and stillness can make a shift in your overall well being.”
Wishing you a beautiful day

Reach for the stars
Ahhhhh, another serene and heart opening sunrise with majestic clouds serving up the big ball of light with a gentle hug. The colors were breathtaking starting with pink rays jetting into the sky in every direction.
A chatty flock of gulls flew in to say, “Reach for the stars.” Then we hit the water for some much needed bath time.
The waves rolled in with strength, washing over us, carrying all the stress and tension away.
After sunrise, a manatee and a turtle swam over to say hello. They said, “We joined up to bring you the same message of going with the flow. You see, we are both gentle and enjoy an easy does it kind of pace. Oh and, follow your nose, it always knows.”
“We can definitely step on the gas if needed but prefer the meandering kind of stride, this way we can be in the moment meeting new friends and soaking up the moment.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Chilling to refill your tank
The morning was still was just a hint of a breeze when the flock of gulls flew in to say good morning. A cloud wall morphed into a gator as the sun came up. The gator eventually looked like it was breathing pink rays.
The ocean was calm with waves calling to the surfers to come play. After sunrise I ran into Luna the osprey and 4 dolphin.
A momma dolphins and her calf along with 2 other dolphins were enjoying hanging in the lagoon bringing us the message of relaxation. They said, “We highly recommend chilling out with your pod mates to fill up your gas tank.”
Luna the osprey was there too squawking loudly for a long time. She said, “My foot hurts so I just need to yell about it for a few minutes then I’ll feel better and be ready to grab fish and enjoy my day.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
plug into nature to receive the best download
WOWZER! The sky art was spectacular this morning. The energy matched the beauty, with the moon high in the sky as the sun came up to great the day.
A chatty flock of gulls flew in when it was still dark to enjoy bath time and hang time.
One of the gulls hung in place with her wings back, leading with her heart to say, “Ahhhhh, a moment of stillness to connect, adds sweetness to my day. I highly recommend slowing down to plug into nature to receive the best download to support your journey.
Pelican Highway traffic was light gliding northbound using the churning ocean to fuel their flight.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Gratitude to make a shift
The supermoon was high in the sky as I walked out the door. A nice breeze was blowing as the ocean churned. The chatty flock of gulls flew in early to say hello and watch the sun come up to greet the day.
We have 2 super moons this month giving us an extra powerful boost to let go and manifest what we truly want.
The full moon this month reminds us to find gratitude. The man in the moon said, ‘Use my power to help you create the life you want, that includes healing, love, abundance and anything else your heart desires. Take a moment to be grateful for where you have been and where you are now, this will help you move forward with gentle ease. “
One of the gulls was fanning his tail wings like a jet. He said, “I’m here to encourage using what you have in unique ways. Think outside the box to give yourself a lift up.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Hot summer Manatee Lovin’
Good Morning!
I’m away from sunrise today but wanted to share a couple things, one is a manatee video from yesterdays snuggle fest and the other is drone shot showing Daniko a male dolphin close by along with Momma Sarabi and her second calf that I have met. These are a couple of my favorite flippered friends.
The tide was really low today courtesy of the full moon and well, the full moon put the manatees in the mood for some summer loving. 2 hours of hanging with them, mostly they were calm and snuggling but a couple times they were feeling amorous. They swam right over to me, said hello then started snuggling, so very cute. Check out the manatee doing a little flip over his friend toward the end.

It is my destiny to stay the course
Before I reached the beach, I could see a heart shaped opening in the sky that instantly helped me relax and breathe deeper.
A larger and very chatty flock of gulls flew in with their wings open ready to start the day.
A sweet couple with 2 small children were enjoying the sunrise too! They let me know there was a baby turtle!
Thank you Emily and your family for letting me know about the turtle and taking time to babysit the little nugget to ensure the birds didn’t snatch him up.
The little hatchling was doing his best to make it the ocean. It appeared his brothers and sisters already left. The waves were powerful and kept sending him backwards with multiple flips and turns.
The New Smyrna Beach Turtle Trackers stopped to assess the little nugget and determined he needed a day to rest before heading out again so they took him to monitor and keep him safe.
Before he left he said, “My journey is one of perseverance. It is my inner knowing that tells me that even though I am tiny and the world looks so big, I am powerful and strong. It is my destiny to stay the course. Despite many obstacles, I will swim at least 30 miles to the sargassum seaweed where I can rest.”
Wishing you a day embodying your inner turtle.
Rest to keep you flying
Mother Nature was in a soft and sweet pastel mood this morning bringing us a very serene start to the day.
Before sunrise the sky filled with a lovely pink and blue sky with a silver shimmery glow on the ocean. Although the ocean was calm the waves were starting to build calling to surfers to come catch a ride.
Pelican Highway glided above the surfers in the waves reminding us to follow the flow of energy to create ease.
A solo pelican landed on the beach at a near by rest stop. He said, “Rest is a necessary part of the journey. Not to worry, taking time out won’t cause you to miss anything. On the contrary, it will fill up your gas tank so you are ready to fly even higher.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Connect to the earth for solace
Mother Nature is definitely in a moody blues kind of mood this week bringing us another dark and sultry kind of sunrise.
The chatty flock of gulls flew in when was still dark ready for bath time. Some of the regular winter birds seem to be returning early! Maybe that means we will see One Legger, Hook and Tiger earlier this year.
The sun came up for a just a brief moment before hiding behind the wall of clouds. For couple minutes the shapes of people appeared in the sun. Let me know if you see anyone or anything in the photos.
Walking home after the sunrise I ran into an armadillo digging for grub. She said, “I’m here to encourage you to connect to the earth. Both dirt and water can help you feel centered in the midst of chaos. Like the dolphin last night, go ahead play in the mud, it will help you feel grounded."
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Leave room for spontaneous play
Ahhhh, a soothing bluesy kind of sunrise with a thick wall of clouds on the horizon.
The flock of gulls flew in when it was still dark with their wings and hearts open.
Everyone was playing in the waves today! A couple sharks were close to shore cruising by in the waves looking for snacks and seemed to be enjoying letting the waves wash over them.
2 surfers were on my left when a couple dolphins came from the right and joined them in the waves. The dolphins bring the message of spontaneous play with unexpected connections.
They dolphins said, “We highly recommend being spontaneous. We find it helpful not to plan everything so there is space to be free and flow with what your heart desires.”
Wishing you a beautiful day filled with playful moments.

Your legs are a great way to stay grounded
Mother Nature bought us an other worldly sunrise with a cloud city on the horizon. Rain streamed form the clouds, as Pelican Highway glided passed by.
One pelican flew by with his wings hanging and said, “When you feel tattered, relax your wings and let yourself have a moment of rest. Even 60 seconds of hang time can refill your battery.”
The calm ocean looked like a lake with a pink silky blanket giving it a captivating texture. As the sun came up behind the clouds it made a funnel of light filling the morning with a hopeful vibe.
After sunrise I spent time with a tricolored heron who said, “Your feet and toes are very important! They are the anchors to keep you grounded so you feel solid, ready to take on what comes your away. And when I have an itch, boy do they give me a scratch!”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

It’s always fun to see who shows up! The dolphins and pelican shenanigans are starting to wind down until the fall.
The elite athlete pelicans love to go after the fish trying to get away from the dolphins. The dolphins enjoy teasing the birds by tossing fish and being playful.
So many turtles this time of year, and it never gets old when they pop up just a few feet away.
Stay tuned for more tales!
Give yourself a little wiggle
Another beautiful day in paradise with gorgeous sky art and lovely colors. A nice breeze and calm ocean gave us a serene sunrise.
The chatty flock of gulls flew in early with wings and hearts open. One of the birds leaned back with his feel out reminding us to lean back and soak up the moment. Then we went into the water for some much needed bath time.
The gulls said, “Self care is an important part of our day. Bath time is how we get the bugs off so we can stay healthy. Join us in getting squeaky clean to boost your immune system.”
After sunrise I ran into Ozzie and Harriet, a pigeon couple who live in the pontoon of a boat. They said, “ Not to worry, you are never really stuck in a ‘pigeon hole.’ If you feel trapped or stuck, take a deep breath, give yourself a little wiggle, and trust the timing.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Lean into your strengths
My apologies for being away from the sunrise, I was taking care of my pod mate.
Ahhhhh, A lovely sunrise with gorgeous sky art with fluffy clouds and gorgeous colors. So many colors from a light pink to a deep golden glow.
The flock of gulls came flying down the beach at their usual time to say good morning and watch the sunrise together. Pelican Highway traffic was heavy, flying mostly southbound stopping for snacks at the rest stop.
Luna the osprey who I haven’t seen in about 6 months was back on her boat perch! So good to see her again. When I walked up to her I said, “Welcome back! How are Luna? ” She showed me she still has an injured left foot.
She said, “It’s nice to be back! It’s true, I still have a boo boo foot but I’m doing quite well. I have learned how to fish and stand leaning more on my other foot. I’m here to encourage adapting to your current situation. I fins it's helpful to lean into your strengths.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Rusty with a message for Shelley
Hi! My name is Rusty the Pelican. Usually Penny the pelican makes the announcement about Shelley being away…. but she asked me to!
This was a surprise because I’m new to the crew but I am in charge of Shelley’s gear when she is away. It’s kinda heavy so I just stand on it to keep it safe. Sometimes I step on the button and take photos too.
Shelley said to let you know she will be away for a few days to care for and support her pod mate.
As she flew out the door she said, “Make sure you let everyone know how much I appreciate their support!”
