Mother Nature brought us a great day for the cloud game!  So many shapes and figures on the horizon soaking up the colors.

At first light, the clouds were grey and white then a hint of pink drizzled on the edge.  Once the sun was up the landscape changed to a golden scene of beauty.

The almost new moon was high int he sky in conversation with Jupiter (last photo).  They bring us the message today.  Jupiter said, “I am the planet of expansion and luck.  I am known as the “Great Benefic.”   The new moon beings new beginnings and fresh starts.  Together, we are a powerful combo bringing you luck and the energy to manifest your dreams!”

A couple pelicans grabbing breakfast after ward chimed in.  The pelican said, “It’s true! Look at my lucky catch. I highly recommend being open to receiving the fish of your dreams.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Let go so the new can come to you

The almost new moon was bright in the sky surrounded by the visible Jupiter and Mars as I walked to the beach.  New moon energy can be felt 3 days before and after the actual day.

The new moon said, “Use my powerful energy by acknowledging what your heart desires.  Now is the time to visualize and manifest with my assistance. I must also let you know, I can bring emotions to the surface, much like a full moon.  This is a good opportunity to release the old so the new and exciting can come to you with ease.”

If that wasn’t enough, heart expanding pink rays of light streamed into the blue sky at first light.  Eventually the big golden ball of light came up adding a golden glow to the sky.

A shark grabbing breakfast said, “I’m here to encourage using your strength and sensitivity to know how to take advantage of the fresh start new moon energy. Go ahead and kick it, You got this!”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Daily self care

Wowie!  The clouds were definitely the star of the sunrise this morning.  Starting off soaking up the rich pink glow then slowly changing to gold and blue.

The flock of gulls flew in early with wings and hearts open ready for bath time as the sun came up kissing the ocean good bye for the day.

The gulls bring us their simple secret to stying healthy. “Everyday, we take a bath to get the bugs off.  You see bugs are are like stress, if we ignore them, they build up. A few minutes in the water flapping around is fun and makes us feel better.”

Wishing you a day filled with beauty!

A quick connection to elevate your mood

AHHHH, with the absence of a breeze and calm ocean the mooning was quiet.  Huge wishy and fluffy clouds kept the light low adding to the cozy feeling.

The chatty flock flew in to watch the sun come up and grab a bath. We happily went to the water to avoid the bugs.  Perfect waves rolled toward shore soaking up the soft light and calling to the surfers to come play,

Wet sand reflected the artful masterpiece that felt like we were transported to another world.

After sunrise a couple dolphins came in to chill and grab a couple snacks.  A solo pelican arrived to join in breakfast.  The dolphin and pelican said, ‘We hope you get to play with friends today. Just a quick connection can create a shifting elevate your mood.”

Embrace change to grow

Ahhhhh, Mother Nature brought us a calm and cozy sunrise with lots of fluffy clouds soaking up the colors. Soft light glistened on the flat ocean, illuminating the waves as they rolled toward shore.  Pelican Highway was lined up gliding down the beach in perfect unison.

The chatty flock of laughing gulls, a few royal terns, sandwich terns and even a couple skimmers were enjoying breakfast.

After sunrise a lizard got my attention.  When I asked, “Really?  You’re our messenger today?”  She tilted her head and said, “YES!”

She said,”I’m here to help you remember you have an innate ability to regenerate and grow. Use challenges to help you transform and shift.  Embracing the change will help you emerge even stronger than before.”

Things eventually line up

First Light brought rays of light jetting out from eh clouds on the horizon.  Pink and blue colors started the day until the sun came up adding orange and gold to the mix.

The very chatty flock of gulls flew in early ready to get squeaky clean.  Caramel colored waves rolled toward shore carrying Pelican Highway southbound.

Pelican Highway brings us the message of alignment.  They said, “We can be disorganized but eventually we get lined up.  We are a reminder to keep flying, eventually things are align and the flow will carry you froward with ease.”

Slow and steady

Mother Nature used low tide to bring us a heart opening reflective sunrise.  Wet sand mirrored back the majestic beauty of the sky creating a breathtaking start to the day.

A chatty and large flock of gulls flew in early to enjoy the sunrise and grab a bath.  For the 3rd day in a row Pelican Highway was surf fishing.  A young pelican grabbing a fish in the cresting wave got caught in the wave and was tumbled a bit.  He eventually got himself up and out bringing us a message.

He said, “It’s true sometimes the waves can take us over. What I know for sure is it is temporary. I was able to find my bearings and pull myself out of the white water.”

After sunrise I ran into a snail trekking along leaving a trail of her past.  She said, “Seeing where I have been gives me helpful  information for how to move forward. Since I am a snail, I’m a reminder to trust the pace.  Slow and steady, trust the timing, keep chugging along, one step at a time.”

A break from the fray to recharge

When I reached the ocean, the morning was quiet, not a creature was stirring, not even a bird. In a blink of an eye, the morning came to life with birds flying in from every direction. I was so excited when Pelican Highway stopped for snacks right in front of me while the sun was coming up.

It was a feeding frenzy. Pelicans, sandwich and royal terns, laughing gulls, all grabbing teeny fish for breakfast.

The pelicans were showing off their athletic skills, fishing while surfing the waves. Small sharks were in the mix joining in the breakfast buffet.

A solo pelican landed on the beach with the laughing gulls saying, “It’s ok to take a break for the fray. A little time out of the ‘rat race’ spending quiet time chatting with friends is a nice way to recharge.

Tales from the Lagoon~ Episode - Dolphin Uses Photographer to Confuse the Pelicans

After one dolphin leaps out of water, another dolphin confuses the pelicans by chasing fish toward me throwing the pelicans off his scent. The pelicans flew right at the camera but stopped not knowing where the dolphins went. After a couple seconds, they figured it out and went after him and the mullet.

Oh the drama!

Mind set creates relaxation

Ahhhh, a very sweet and serene morning!  With little breeze and wet sand reflecting the beauty, the stillness was palpable.  As the flock flew in the morning came to life with bird chatter and bath time.

Pelican Highway was wide open because everyone headed to the nearest rest stop to enjoy breakfast and spa day at the same time.

The pelicans said, “We love it when the tiny fish are in the shallows so we can enjoy the waves rolling under us like a gentle massage while we capture breakfast.  You see, daily chores can be relaxing and fun, it’s all about your mind set.”

One the immature pelicans, which means he is young, made eye contact and it felt like an invitation so I sat with him while he had breakfast.  He brings the message of being open to new connections.

So many dolphin calves! Thank goodness for a maternity pod, which is a couple moms and their calves to rase the kiddos.

These little ones were popping up, darting here and there like they just ate a bag of Halloween candy!

If you see them, please go slow...the little ones can't echolocate yet and are learning so much. Their moms say, "Thank You!"

Be ready for unexpected stops

WOW!  The color explosion was spectacular this morning!  Soft cotton ball shaped clouds soaked up the entire crayon box of colors.  Wet sand joined in creating the masterful sunrise by reflecting back the beauty to the sky.

A very large and chatty flock of gulls flew in to enjoy the sunrise.  One gull hugged the sun as it came up.  Pelican Highway gracefully glided by until the birds slammed on the brakes dropping off the Higheay for a breakfast stop. They enjoyed a morning of surf fishing.

The pelicans remind us to be open to stopping.  They said, “You never know when opportunity will knock.  We highly recommend being open and ready for unexpected fruitful stops.”

Full Moon shines a light on our path

Yipppeeeeee! Both the full moon and sun made an appearance today! The moon was setting surrounded by soft cozy clouds while the sun came up with swirly clouds all around.

A chatty flock flew in early ready to bring in the new day with bath time. Pelican Highway traffic was surprisingly light.

The full moon, called the strawberry moon brings us the message today. “Like all full moons I am an amplifier of your emotions. If the emotions become overwhelming or confusing, follow the gulls advice and partake in daily self care like bath time to let go and stay open.”

“I’m also illuminating your path. I am shining a light on the fruits of your labor, showing you the way to your next steps. Keep the faith, all is lining up!”

Rainbows and baby dolphins

It’s overcast again today so sharing the TGIF photo and single sunrise photo.

And great news, we have another baby dolphin! Check out the video of the baby swimming next to mom. Here is that post:

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Another Baby Dolphin!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing Squirt and her/his mom as well as this mom and her new baby!

You can see the baby still has stripes from when it was scrunched up in the momma. They are also darker when they are first born. I saw this nugget for the first time on Father's Day, looks like s/he is quite the spitfire.

Watch how s/he kicks to keep up with momma who has a big fish in her mouth. The baby even gives a pelican a boop at the end!

Find your own rhythm

The sand was still wet from rain when my feet hit the beach. Wind was whipping, while the ocean churned like a washing machine.  First light filled the sky with a vibrant pink and purple glow being soaked up by Hughe fluffy clouds.

A chatty flock flew in and hung in place using the wind as support. As the sun came up the color show turned to golden yellow and blue with the majestic clouds adding to the awe inspiring landscape.

On the way off the beach I ran into a woodpecker who said, “Hi! I’m here with a few message.  I’m a reminder to find your own rhythm, it’s good to beat to your own drum.  Go ahead, be a unicorn.”

I’m also a messenger of change. Use your skills to chip away at the old so you can find the tasty morsels of success.

The beach, the sunrise, the woodpecker—they all spoke of new beginnings, of embracing your unique path, and of the subtle, persistence needed to uncover life’s hidden treasures.

Pip the Pelican is a boy

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Pip is a Boy and Sees His First Drone

Just a few weeks after Pip tangled with a filleted fish called a sheepshead we became fast friends. At first I called him Pippa, until I figured out he was a boy, so he became Pip.

This video shows our friendship as well as the first time he saw a drone. He didn’t like the drone much and seemed confused about what kind of bird it was. When you see my hand out toward him, I'm not touching him, it's the way I communicate with him.

Stay tuned for more from Pip the Pelican!
