Listen to your inner guidance

Ahhhhh a calm and serene sunrise with an abundance of wildlife. The pre sunrise colors were pink and blue highlighting the crescent moon high in the sky. The chatty flock flew in early with several royal terns and sand pipers.

Dolphins and sharks grabbed fish in the waves close to shore. Occasionally the dolphin surfed a few waves but mostly they were swimming in the waves chasing fish.

The sharks and dolphin came together to bring us the message today. They said, “Together we are here to remind you to follow your intuition. Listen to your inner guidance to know when to kick it or when to relax into a wave of momentum.”

Within you a beautiful day friends!

Let your imagination be free

Holy sky art Batman! The masterful brush strokes and color mixing was truly breathtaking this morning. The beauty started with a light funnel illuminating the almost new moon.

The flock of gulls flew in with wings and hearts open just as the clouds morphed into a peace sign. The peace sign then shifted into a bird looking like a dove or a falcon.

The sky brings us the message of letting your imagination be free to see the beauty in everything. They sky said, “You see beauty has a way of shifting our mood. Let yourself soak it all in and let your brain be elevated.”

Peg, A laughing gull has returned for a another winter in New Smyrna Beach. I’ve known her for 4 or 5 years now. She said, “It’s so nice to return to my winter flock and home. I’m a reminder to focus on your strengths to thrive.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Think it into reality

Ahhhhhh, a very serene morning with the absence of a breeze and a calm ocean. The pre sunrise sky filled with a beautiful pink glow as the Flock flew in with wings and hearts open.

Some of the gulls are returning early! If you are just tuning in the laughing gulls leave for the summer and return in the fall. This morning I saw Bob and Pixar. I’m excited to see who else will return.

Pixar reminds us to day to fall in love with ourselves, perceived flaws and all. As the sun was coming a rocket launched as well. Rockets take to the air often these days, encouraging us to dream! Go ahead let those thoughts you think are impossible take shape. If you can think it, it can manifest.”

Wishing you a creative day friends!

Enjoy the journey, One step at a time

Ahhhhh, a lovely salty breeze gave us a soothing start to the day.  Lots of birds this morning!  Laughing gulls, royal terns, sand pipers, willets, egrets and a solo pelican.

The moon was bright in the sky as the sun came up looking like a painted masterpiece courtesy of the Sahara dust.  An egret dancing around chasing fish said, “Easy does it.  Let the stress go so you can be light on your feet.”

On the way off the beach I ran into a baby box turtle who said, “My secret isn’t about my size or even my pace, it’s my willingness to move through the cracks, the ups and downs one step at a time. I’m a reminder to enjoy the journey and trust in the timing.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Pip the Pelican at 5 weeks of knowing each other.

This sweet video was made 5 weeks after meeting Pip. It was before I learned he was a boy so I was calling him Pippa. As you can see we had lots of conversations. Just click the image to play the video.

Thank you for your patience with the release of the children's book. I just received the latest formatting and we still have a few tweaks to make but I hope to have it available soon!

Use your intuition to move forward

The sand was still wet from rain overnight. Mother Nature used soft brush strokes to compliment the pastel color color show.  Rays of light jetted from behind the clouds on the horizon.

The flock flew in early, catching a bath while a solo shark grabbed breakfast.  The shark was enjoying the waves while looking for snacks.

She said, “I’m here to encourage you to embrace your sensitivity. Use you intuition to know how to move forward.  Remember you are stronger than you know and can kick it into gear at a moments notice.”

Relax into the flow

Mother Nature brought us a sweet sunrise with tipsy clouds and a calm ocean.  Once the sun came up from behind the haze the colors shifted from from a shimmery silver to a vibrant gold glow.

The flock flew in at the usual time for bath time.  Dolphins grabbed fish while the waves rolled over like a gentle massage.  A solo shark swam in the shallows also looking for breakfast. They both said, “Let the waves of life roll on by. Relax into the flow and enjoy the ride.”

Once the sun was up the flock was doing a little self care in the reflective tide pool.  One of the gulls said, “If you look at yourself from a different perspective you might see yourself in a different light.”

Clarity will come, trust the timing

The chatty flock was already at the edfe of the ocean ready for bath time when I arrived with a light pink backdrop.

A heavy layer of fog hovered above the shoreline giving us a muted and cozy start to the day. Down the beach surfers headed through the wet haze to catch one of the perfect weaves rolling toward shore.

The fog brings us one of the messages today.  It said, “Not to worry, fog is temporary, I burn off with the light binging with it clarity.  Trust the timing, and know clarity is coming."

When the sun came up it looked like a golf ball teed up by the clouds. It brought more heat and a golden glow to the sky.

On the way off the beach, a squirrel with a nut said, “Lighten up, come on grab your nuts and lets go play.”

Wishing you a groovy day friends!

Molting is temporary

WOWIE!  Mother Nature used every crayon in the box bringing us a stunning, heart opening color show.  Laughing gulls, sand pipers, royal terns and willets showed up to watch the sun come up and grab a bath.

Ghost crabs scurried back and forth, in and out of their homes brining us the message of the day.  One of them stopped to chat saying, “I’m a messenger of trusting your intuition.  I know sometimes it’s bet to stay close to my home so I can get to safety quickly and other times I want to run out on the open.  I trust I will know when to hunker down and when to be free.”

After sunrise I had a chat with a solo pigeon who was looking pretty scraggly.  She said, “Thank goodness, molting is temporary!  Transformation isn’t for the faint of heart.  You see, being willing to change and release the old feathers is a process and you may not feel that great during the process.  Not to worry, the end result is wonderful and you will look and feel even better.  Hang in there.”

Let the old go so the new can come in

Ball, Ball, Ball…the sunrise through the eyes of a dog.

The Sahara sand brought us a hot and hazy start to the day.  The sun and moon were both hugged by soft fluffy clouds.  The color show was almost black and white until the sun came up adding a copper glow to the sky.

Dolphins swam southbound past the waves when the flock of gulls flew in to grab a bath.  A handful of royal terns joined in the morning ritual.

One of the royal terns with feathers stuck to his beak said, “I highly recommend pulling out those old feathers.  You know the things from the past that keep new growth from coming in. Go ahead let those feathers go so the new beauty can come forward.”

Wishing you beautiful day friends!

Play to shift your mood

The morning started out dark and cozy with a cool breeze that felt more like a fall day than a mid summer sunrise.  A large flock of gulls flew in early.  Usually the flock doesn’t return from the north until September, so far it seems they are returning ahead of schedule.  The full moon was extra stunning surrounded by a vibrant blue sky.

A cloud wall on the horizon lit up with lightning before dissipating after the sun came up.  Surfers, dolphins and pelicans were called to play in the waves.

Dolphins were leaping and jumping to the right and left.  They bring us the message of breaking out into spontaneous play.  They said, “Playing is a great way to shift your mood.  Just a minute or two of giggling or play can make a big difference.”

Wishing you a playful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Baby Dolphin Learning to Tail Slap

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Baby Dolphin Learning to Tail Slap

Just a quick 15 second video to show the cuteness of this calf. It looks like this little one is learning how to use his/her fluke (the tail.) To me it looks like s/he is learning to tail slap, an important technique used to communicate.

After practicing using her tail, they chased a few fish. The youngin' swam right next to her momma keeping up with momma speeding into the shallows for some mullet.

Tales from the lagoon ~ Episode -Baby Dolphins and Pelican Party

Tales from the lagoon ~ Episode -Baby Dolphins and Pelican Party

The day started off with several immature pelicans in the lagoon looking for fish. Immature (aka young) pelicans are brown and white. Eddy, my pelican friend who I have known since he was immature now his mature or grown up colors was there to show the youngins how to fish. He was there scoring all kinds of fish from the dolphins.

Then the momma’s and the babies came in to relax, nurse and grab some fish. Squirt was there too! Facebook named little Squirt back in May. It looks like the fetal bands which are stripes from being scrunched up in the mom are almost gone.

About an hour later Daniko and Jasper, 2 male dolphins, came into the lagoon. The moms and babies stayed for few minutes before heading out. The boys stayed for 4 more hours! What a special time! More to come….

Adapt and transform

Mother Nature brought us a hot and steamy sunrise.  The color show was not the usual popping intensity but rather a subtle dash of pink and blue turning into a golden glow.

The full moon was high in the dark sky 30 minutes before sunrise.  The closer it came to setting the softer and more translucent it became.

This full moon is situated in the sky bringing us powerful energy to fuel our determination and also our awareness.

The moon said, “I have the power to intensify your emotions and intuition.  Harness my energy to help you know what to let go of so you can move forward with ease.”

A yellow crowned night heron looking for a crab breakfast added to the message saying, “I represent adaptability, intuition and transformation. I eat crabs whole, shell and all!  I am here to remind you how strong you are.  If this full moon is challenging, keep the faith, stay open to unexpected opportunities coming your way.”

Can you hear me now?

With Sahara dust and fog the morning felt extra cozy. The dust and light show mixed together bringing a variety of colors to the beauty. The dust coming from across the globe reminds us we are all connected.

Although the full moon was hidden behind the clouds, the lunar energy felt strong. The chatty flock of gulls was large today which may mean the winter gulls could return early this year.

Wispy clouds added to the romantic and ethereal feel of the soothing sunrise. An osprey on a boat brings us the message of energy.  She said, “I’m not talking but I’m sending a message, can you hear me now? You see, much can be said without actually speaking.”

Angel in the sky

WOW!  The colors and cloud shapes 30 minutes before sunrise were the star of the sunrise.  Can you see the angel on the left flying to the right?  The chatty flock flew in with wings and hearts open ready to connect.

The soft wispy clouds, sweet colors, floating angel and gulls came together to remind us to keep our hearts and wings open to soak up the beauty all around.

I’m off to do an Ocean Float, wishing you all a magical day!

Bird’s eye view to know just where to dive in!

The stillness of the morning brought us a serene start to the day.  30 minutes before sunrise Jupiter was visible in the sky with just a few soft pink clouds.

A chatty flock flew in early for bath time and connection.  As the sun came up it looked like a golf ball being teed up ready for the long fly down the fairway.

Ospreys flew down the beach in the same flight pattern, spaced apart like a busy airport.  One looking at the fish I was near brings us the message today.

He said, “I’m here to remind you to float above your current situation and get the bird’s eye view.  You see, a broader perspective can give you new information and help you know just where to to dive in.”

New beginnings come by releasing the past

A boisterous frog choir filled the air waves as I walked to the beach. Pink and white wispy clouds filled with sky transporting us to another world.

Low tide brought another reflective sunrise giving us a heart opening vibe. A chatty flock flew in early to grab a bath and hang out.  Perfect waves rolled toward shore with a strong current, hoping just a few pelicans.

After sunrise A squirrel and a mourning dove on the roof came together to bring us our message of the day.  The squirrel chirped, “I’m here to remind you to let go, no need to hoard your nuts or anything else for that matter.  Trust there is enough.”

The dove said, “I’m a message of new birth, freedom and hope.  Together the squirrel and I encourage letting go so you can be free.  Let the new beginnings come by releasing the past.”

Wishing you a every beautiful day friends!
