Love yourself enough to lean in

Another beautiful day in paradise with a wonderful breeze and soothing colors. The ocean churned with waves rolling toward shore soaking up the light changes.

Jellyfish shaped clouds floated across the sky when the flock flew in with their hearts open to receive the beauty. They said, “A moment in nature feeling gratitude for the colors, textures and animals can create a big shift.”

Little Piper brings us a message of love. She said, “Love yourself enough to lean in, go ahead, fall even deeper in love with your reflection.”

Wishing you a day filled with abundant love and beauty!

Hold your head high and step forward

Ahhhhh, a sweet and salty sunrise with a slight layer of haze in the air. Mother Ocean was in an artsy mood creating beautiful wave art as the waves rolled in.

The flock of gulls flew in when it was still dark showing off their silhouettes. We head in the to the water for some much needed bath time.

The flock said, “We bring the message of seeking comfort with your flock amidst the chaos. When things feel hectic, being in nature with friends can make everything feel better.”

As the sun came up, it illuminated the textures in the waves as the water danced around soaking up the light.

A royal tern hanging with the other gulls was quite chatty saying, “I’m here to remind you to step forward with confidence. Even when it feels a bit scary, take a deep breath, hold your head high and take it one step at a time, you got this.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Life is good

The sunrise is for the birds….

So many birds this morning! It seems they are back for the winter, although I’m still waiting on a few regulars to return.

A soft salty breeze was blowing as the ocean churned. Fluffy clouds danced across the sky reflecting on the wet sand giving us double the beauty.

The huge sun passed through the clouds before shining bright filling the sky with a deep and powerful glow.

One Legger and her flock were extra chatty today bringing us the message, “Life is good. And be open to finding a safe place to rest."

One legger went on to say, “I lean into my strengths. When life feel life is challenging I find something to be grateful and that shifts my mood.”

opportunities in transitions

With an intense rain storm overnight, the sand was still wet, salty wind was blowing while the ocean churned. The churning ocean didn’t keep the surfers away from enjoying a sunrise surf.

A chatty flock of gulls flew in for bath time and stayed until the sun was up. The sun came up as a giant pink ball before being enveloped in a cloud only to emerge again looking like it was being held by the fluffy formation.

The light ray jetting from the cloud felt as if was filled with hope and excitement for a new day.

So many frogs today singing like a well practiced choir. One was particularly chatty saying, “I bring the message of transformation and transition. I’m here to remind you when transitions show up in your life, look for opportunities in the change. “

“I’m a reminder of the cycles of rebirth and renewal. Trust in the changes, relax into the transformation and watch the magic unfold.”

Wishing you a hopping good day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Dolphins Actively Participate in Filming

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Dolphins Actively Participate in Filming

I'm away from sunrise today

This is 3 minutes 33 seconds....I know it's long but if you love dolphins I think you will like this video. Click the link below to watch on Youtube.

You'll see the sweet love of Momma Sarabi and her second calf I've had the pleasure of meeting. The third dolphin is a male named Daniko.

When the 3 of them meet up, you'll see Daniko get distracted by 2 mullet then swim away. Momma Sarabi is very aware we are filming so she goes to get him and they come back together. I can hear her now, "Honey, come on! The camera is rolling, we got to go."

Music is by Kevin P. Holt, song is Shades of Autumn Purchased on Artlist.io

I've known Daniko since 2018, he was one of my first dolphin photos, but I didn't get to know him personally until 2019. I met Momma Sarabi in 2019 when her baby boy Simba introduced us.

Trust your inner knowing

Mother Nature brought us another dusty, golden sunrise. The Sahara dust gives us a black and white pre sunrise then just a slight hint of pink before turning to a bronze glowing sky.

The flock flew in at their usual time for our usual self care time. Bathing was crowded with over a hundred gulls.

The sea oats have grown back nicely since hurricane season last year. They bring us the message of resilience.

As I was standing in the lagoon after sunrise, Rusty the pelican flew in hot, slammed on his brakes and grabbed a fish.

He said, “I’m always open to changing directions to reach my goal. I trust my instincts to know which direction to go and when to dive. I’m a reminder you can trust your inner knowing too!”

Within you a beautiful day friends!

Hugs, Snuggles and silly time are good for the soul

Mother Nature started the day with a peace sign coming out of the cloud on the horizon. With thick Sahara sand the pre sunrise looked mostly black with a hint of pink until the sun came up changing the sky to a golden glow.

The chatty flock flew was already at the waters edge when I arrived. They were vey cute and engaging as we hit the water for bath time.

After sunrise I got to spend a little time 2 male dolphins M and Charley. Charley said as he popped his head up to say hello, “When life feels overwhelming we recommend spending time with a friend. We know how hugs, snuggles and silly time can make us feel better.”

Wishing you a happy day friends!

Energy follows your attention

Salty humid air filled my lungs as my feet hit the soft sand. A layer of fog hung like a cozy blanket over the beach and ocean. The ocean churned as the flock flew in for bath time.

With fog and clouds on the horizon the sun stayed muted giving us a copper sunrise.

After sunrise I had a long chat with Luna the Osprey. I asked her out loud, “Do you have any wisdom to share?” She leaned in like she was going to tell me a secret then lifted her tushy feathers and let go.”

She said, “Yes, my wisdom to share is, "Let Go." When you think you have let go....let go again. Here’s the trick, lean forward, relax and let the it happen, no need to force it, just be open to letting go.”

After that conversations I asked about her hurt foot. She lifted her foot showing the redness is a bit better. She went on to say, “It’s ok, I’m quite skilled at catching fish with one foot because I keep my focus on my strengths. Remember where your attention goes, so does your energy.”

Lift each other up

With the absence of a breeze, the stillness was palpable before the sun came up to greet the day. Dolphins chased fish in the distance while soft clouds soaked up the breathtaking colors.

The gorgeous sunrise reflected off the wet sand giving us double the pleasure. Many of the laughing gulls who return to New Smyrna Beach every fall and winter are beginning to arrive.

They were very expressive bringing us a message of support and cheering each other on.

They said, “Sure we can be competitive, and we also know the power of the flock. We know lifting each other up will help us all thrive. We bring the message of reaching for the stars as a group with wings and hearts open.”

Wishing you a heart opening kind of day friends!

Self care to keep your heart open

With a cool breeze the morning felt as if a hint of fall was in the air. Fluffy clouds soaked up the pink and lavender colors before the sun came up turning the colors to orange and gold.

The chatty flock of gulls flew in for our usual bath time and rest. The gulls bring us the message of self care today.

They said, “You see, bathing and resting are necessary for our health. We know the basic self care is the foundation to our survival and a way to keep our hearts open."

"When we are tired, we take a few minutes to rest. Although we don’t always want to bathe, we know it’s how we keep the bugs off and our immune system strong.”

Baby Loggerhead Turtles

Slow and steady, feeling the moment

Mother Nature went for a soft and sweet moody bluesy kind of sunrise. With a soft and refreshing breeze the morning felt soothing. I added a couple photos from a different morning just to give us a glimpse of the sun and a dose of vitamin D.

The flock was extra chatty this morning as they flew in with wings and hearts open ready for the day.

Spot the egret and a snail bring us a combo message. Spot said, “Stop and feel the wind, let it blow your feathers and give you a most fabulous hairdo. Ahhh, feels so good!”

The snail said, “I agree with Spot, slowing it down to savor the moment is my motto. I’m here to remind you slow and steady is a helpful way to see the way through the jungle in front of you. Not to worry, what is meant for you will never pass you by.”

Transparency shows your beauty

With wispy clouds painted across the sky accompanied by a sweet pastel color show, the sunrise had an easy does kind of vibe. It was as if Mother Nature was saying, “Let’s take a break from the flashy sunrises so we can soften and relax.

Gentle waves rolled toward shore when the flock of very chatty gulls flew in for our daily bath time. While bathing, a dolphin and a shark swam by in the shallows just a few feet from the shore.

After sunrise, on the docks I had a nice chat with Luna the Osprey who said, “Hello everyone!” We watched a moon jellyfish float by with the current.

The moon jellyfish said, I”m here to encourage you to be transparent. Go ahead and show yourself from the inside out and let the world see your beauty.”

Wishing you a beautiful day!

Where your attention goes energy follows

Mother Nature brought us a sweet and soft sunrise with lovely colors and a nice breeze.

The new moon was visible yesterday as just a tiny sliver in the sky but with the turtles, I didn’t get to share and it was a powerful message for us.

The new moon ushers in fresh starts and this one encourages us to be playful. "I bring passion, creativity and matters of the heart front and center. Use my energy to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and share your creativity.”

The chatty flock of gulls flew in and One Legger was in the flock!!! I’ve known One Legger for 4 or 5 years now. She has been coming to New Smyrna every summer, staying through the winter. She is an excellent athlete literally able to fly circles around the flock

She said, “I keep my attention on what works for me, remember to embrace your strengths and you will soar!”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

We go forward because its our destiny

WOW! Not only was a gorgeous sunrise with jetting rays of light in every direction, we also had baby turtles come out of their warm nest and head to the ocean after sunrise!

The almost new moon was setting into the sunrise when the flock of gulls flew in to say hello and grab a quick bath.

At sunrise, a couple baby loggerhead turtles poked their head up out of the nest and hung out there for really long time. A group of people waited anxiously for about 90 minutes for the babies pop out and start their life.

They bring us the message of inspiration, determination, and connection. They brought strangers together to bond and connect. Once up and heading toward the ocean, people from everywhere came to witness the uplifting trek.

One little one with lots of gusto put up his flipper and said, “I got this! It’s true, we have an inner strength to keep us going. It’s in our DNA to keep going even though the odds are against us. That doesn’t stop us, we go forward because it is our destiny.”

Snuggle fest

The sunrise is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get….like a little loving, touching and squeezing!

This morning it was full of life with a beautiful sunrise, a huge flock of gulls and a manatee love fest. I need a shirt that says, ‘Will run for wildlife’ because when a sunriser walked by and told me the manatees were at the jetty, I grabbed my stuff and ran!

The manatees bring us the message of hugging, kissing and love. I counted 17 manatee with the female holding her ground. When she turned down the affections of the males, they took the news pretty good, and decided they would hug and snuggle with each other.

She brings the message of saying it's good to say, “No thank you.” And the males said, “When you feel rejected, hug a friend.”

Those faces! Right?! So cute. I hope you like manatees, more photos and videos later,

Wishing you a day filled with hugs!

let go to hop forward

As I walked to the beach. The morning was quiet except for a frog choir filling the airwaves.

The frogs said, “We are here to encourage connecting to earth so you can feel grounded. This way you can release any heaviness making it easier to hop forward.”

The morning stayed dark and cozy with thick clouds keeping the sun hidden. The no-seeums were intensely giving free acupuncture so I submerged in the ocean to be out of their reach.

Mother Ocean and Mother Nature came together to remind us how nature is a way to reboot and recharge.

Energy follows attention

Mother Nature is giving us an award winning week of sunrises. This morning was awe inspiring with a fluffy cloud funnel soaking up the light show.

The pre sunrise sky was a mind altering pink color when the flock flew in to chat and get our daily bath. It was like a reunion with so many birds returning from their northern trek.

Perfect waves and a mellow ocean added to the serene beauty. The combination was simultaneously calming and energizing.
Pelican Highway traffic was light flying both directions. One the pelicans with missing feathers floated by bringing us the message of the day.

She said, “Losing feathers is a part of being a bird. When a lot fall out at the same time it can be a bit unnerving. I know where I put my focus the energy follows. To stay on track, I keep my wings and heart open along with making sure self care is part of my daily routine.”
